Why do over weight people tell you that you don't need to diet? I declined a biscuit today from a work colleague I told her I was dieting. She told me that I didn't need to diet, what does she know? I am not huge (unlike her) I try and eat healthy ((unlike her) and would like to lose 7lbs to bring my BMI to normal..in total I have lost 8lbs now and my clothes fit better , I feel better.. How does she feel?? Perhaps I'm feeling a little prickly as I weighed myself today and know that come tomorrow, I will be the same weight as last week or maybe even have gained a pound, Will see what happens.
So up until today I was feeling positive, now I'm feeling peed off. Weather has been to crappy to go running, that's probably half the reason for me being a grump, running makes me happy. Yes, it's a mad statement, running is hard, running makes me worn out, it makes my knees click, it makes me sweat, but it also makes me feel good and feel that i've achieved some thing.
So Yesterday I weighed myself, no gain no loss.. Not happy, I wanted to see a loss.. My husband thinks it's because of the carbs I eat that I am holding on to the pounds. So this weeks experiment I will be mainly eating fruit, veg and meat with resrticted carbs and if that don't work then nothing will..!!!
Todays lunch was:
Lean bacon, baked beans, sunny side down fried egg and tinned plum toms, followed by a fat free yoghurt with pomegranate.. Yum - Picture later :-)
Now off to work, people had better be nice to me..!!
